Toast the cumin and coriander seeds in a small pan over low heat until you smell the spices and the cumin is lightly brown, 1 minute. Turn off the heat and let cool. Crush the seeds in a mortar and pestle or use a grinder to powder it. Set aside.
Cook the noodles according to the manufacturer’s instructions, drain and cool.
In a nonstick pan, add the oil and let it get lightly hot. Add the meatballs and toss around for 2 minutes until they get a good caramelized color. Then add the powdered spices, turn down the heat and keep stirring and tossing until the spices lose their raw flavor, 1 to 2 minutes. Add the water to cook the spices and turn the heat up to let the water evaporate. Add the barbecue sauce and simmer to blend the flavors.
Add the cooked noodles and toss very well. Sprinkle with the pepper and chopped cilantro.
